You are invited to join a group of Japanese Practitioners to experience five days at Esalen Institute with a focus on Esalen Massage in the side position.
Sidework is especially useful for work with the elderly or those with limited mobility as well as for pregnant clients, but may also be utilized in any general massage. During this week, Dean will introduce specific techniques for use with clients lying in a supported side posture and also cover positioning and draping.
This class will be translated for the benefit of the Japanese participants and there will be one day that is open for practice, exchange, receiving professional sessions or simply enjoying the beauty of Esalen and Big Sur.
